Quinceañera Skincare AI Mishap

Challenge
A beauty brand needed to educate teens and parents on safe skincare and event prep. Customers relied heavily on inconsistent online/AI advice, leaving both clients and staff without clear guidance.
Learning Design
I developed The Quinceañera Explainer, an animated story of Sofia preparing for her big day. The storyboard focused on spotting trustworthy advice, balancing culture with personal style, and building confidence through daily routines—while giving staff relatable scenarios to reinforce these lessons.
Solution
The final Pixar-style video became a dual resource: engaging teens with a culturally relevant story and supporting staff with consistent training. The brand gained a fun, memorable tool that built customer trust and staff confidence.
